Johan Achiel Erauw, male, born in September 1948, Belgian, Professor of International Law of University of Ghent, served as Minister of  Ministry of Justice, Legal Counsel of the Belgian Parliament and International Trade Centre (WTO/Intellectual Property Organization). The former member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Board of Directors of the University of Ghent, Research Fellow of the University of Tübingen, part-time professor of law of American University Washington College of Law. He concurrently serves as a member of the board of directors of the Belgian Arbitration and Conciliation Centre (CEPANI) and an arbitrator for the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Arbitration Court of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC)  and other well-known international arbitration institutions. Proficiency in Dutch, English, French, German, Afrikaans. He is the author of 20 monographs and has published 170 legal reviews.
